This is me last September. I was about 115 here, up about 5-8 lbs from my normal 108-112. I felt so good here. I can't wait to get back down!!! My actual starting weight was 134 lbs. I don't know why I can't change it on here but anyway here I am ready to lose!!

I'm mommy to two beautiful little girls ages 5 and 6, engaged to the man of my dreams and getting married in October!! Mayan Riviera here we come!!

My weight came on late last year when I was pregnant with my third child. Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage at 4 months in January of this year... :(
I've been struggling with depression and have had a really hard time getting the weight off. My wedding dress will be in September 19th. The seamstress measured me in at a size 2 petit (I'm short)?!?! I'm terrified!!! So no more playing around it's time to lose the last 10 or more pounds!!!

Detox?
While you are cleansing and if you're using a store bought kit you normally have to cut out meat/protin shakes, cheese etc..
To do a proper cleanse you usually increase your intake of whole grains, fruits and veggies and limit or omit dairy, meat and sugar/refined foods. Sometimes when you do a cleanse you get fluish symptoms and very tired for the first couple of days so exercising can be difficult so they usually only recommend walking for the first couple of days until the detox symptoms go away Very Happy

Detox?
You're totally right!! You may lose a tiny bit of fat and muscle but you do lose a lot of water and build up from the colon. A detox kit, detoxing all the main functions in the body, blood, intestines/colon, organs (kidney, liver) etc...
A detox isn't really for weight loss BUT once you remove some of the toxins and impurities from the system weight loss can be easier Smile

Detox?
Hehehe!! I do!! I was asking you on your journal out of curiousity!! If you REALLY want to detox I know a great 5 day plan. You'll be less bloated, lose the weight and feel great!!

The steps!!

1- No red meat (chicken or turkey 3x in the 5 days)
2- No grains
3- No dairy
4- Probiotics 3x a day
5- No sugar
6- Drink 8 glasses of water a day (no coffee, pop or juice) Herbal tea is allowed.
7- One tablespoon of ground flaxseed a day
8- Lots of phytonutrient rich food. Green veggies, berries etc...

Allowed foods,

Veggie burgers, tofu, fish and seafood, chicken, turkey, protein powder, berries fruits,veggies, nuts and nut butters no sugar.

Eat 3 small meals and two snacks daily. Let me know if you need any meal or snack ideas.
