I wish I had a "go back button" to exactly ten/twenty years ago today to see where I was and how healthy/unhealthy I was mentally, physically and spiritually. Overall, life is good. Always room for improvement and things I want to make better, but I don't really believe in resolutions, I think it's something you just decide to do.
I'm looking for a "fly like the wind because company's here at 5:30" button to log my exercise minutes. Not sure I'm going to make it to the pool, but I won't be hanging out on the couch either, so all moving is good. Maybe after they leave? That would be a cool tradition to start - jumping in the pool just past midnight. Literally, because I'm pretty sure it's going to be cold at midnight round these parts. That said, if I close that green exercise ring today, it's a solid green month for December and that's cool. I missed closing one red ring (movement) on the 11th; otherwise, it would have been a perfect month of closing all the rings the entire month. Tomorrow is the New Year's challenge, a solid week of closing all three rings for a week. Easy peasy.
And now, we start prepping for paella with friends tonight. See you next year unless I decide to post food pics in between.
