Well, I have decided to do this. I am going to be Fit, Fabulous and Forty ! I officially turn 40 in November, actually, November 19th. I really want to look good and feel good. I had a bit of a downfall a couple of months ago with having surgery and being unable to exercise, but I am back on track and feeling strong again, so I know I can do this ! I did a circuit training class yesterday that was 30 mins long and intense and today I plan to hit the elliptical machine at the gym during lunch for 15 mins to warm up and then hit the weights hard for 20 mins. Since I work full time, this is the only "me" time that I have, which happens to be during my lunch break. So, I make the best of it and exercise.
Breakfast was 1/2 a serving of my usual shredded wheat with 1/2 c. lowfat (2%) milk, and then 10:00 AM was a lite fruit and jello cup with lite cool whip on top. Post workout will be a protein shake and 4 ounce ground beef patty with slice of cheese. Goal is to eat 5 small meals a day and keep calories as close to 1500 as I can.
