Last night i went to the gym and decided to see how fast i can jog a mile... 12 minutes. So about average.. and now i have a goal to shoot for.. trying to get it down to 10 minutes. it was tough running at a higher speed... so i guess i'll keep this speed till its not hard anymroe and i can push off those minutes!

Good job girl!! That's awesome! Last week was my first week of running for 20 min nonstop (W5D3). It was very difficult for me and I had to walk probably a total of 2-3 minutes. I think I psyched myself out by thinking that 20 min was just too long to run...lol! I did get past a mile before I stopped though, but I was a little disappointed that I couldn't run the full 20 min. How do you it?

i just make sure i start at a pace i can manage... b/c i'm working now seperately to increase my speed, i know the program is meant to increase your stamina.. so make sure that if you are pushing too hard to make it thru the whole work out.. slow down.. once your body and lungs and heart and bones and muscles get acclimated to what your trying to accomplish, you can push for the speed later... you got this girl!

What program are you doing again? Is it the C25K?

Yes! C25K. I'm still going...lol. I don't feel like I'm running at a fast pace, but maybe I can slow it down a little when I feel the need to walk. I'm dreading the 25 min run on Saturday though...lol!

@ sasha yes the c25k.. its awesome!..@summer..its not as bad.. just make sure to do it when its cool or indoors.... lol
