Lowest weight this year: 125.8 lbs (1/29), highest 138.6 lbs (4/22) current is 134.8. In between the highest and the lowest I changed up my workouts and ate a higher calorie flexible low carb diet (most days less than 100g of carbs 1500-1600 calories, higher on the weekends) instead of keto 100%. Still working on finding the best mix to give me the energy I need to power through the workouts without gaining too much weight so I can still do yoga. I still want to lose some more fat so working on controlling my eating habits especially in social settings.

Moopie- Did you attend yoga classes, or are you self taught? You're so good at it, and I wondered if anybody ever got that good from a book or video?

I am a beginner, I went to classes and practiced at home, some instructors were amazing at adjusting my positions and some didn’t correct me. Yoga looks easy and people think they can save money by stretching at home. I’ve had friends who injured themselves in yoga because of improper alignment, so I would start with going to a few classes to get a feel for it. I also take videos and pictures of myself and using mirrors to check my form when I don’t have a yoga instructor to guide me.

It has NEVER looked easy to me! When you live in a small, one stoplight town, yoga classes aren't easy to come by. Or at least not for someone with a day job. Local YMCA has a class during the daytime once every two weeks or so. I'm so stiff an instructor would need to get two students to help force my body into position, and tear something in the process.
