What a day. I had my interview for a promotion today and I think I bombed. I completely went blank and just seemed like I rambled on and on. That was painful. I didn't get up and workout this morning because I wanted to be well rested for the interview, but I should have done the workout, at least I'd have that to show for the day. Ugh.....
I've been eating terrible for the last few weeks and I really need to snap out of this. I did workout over the weekend, so I need to get back into that routine during the week and I think my eating will start getting back in line too. I'm dreading my weigh in on Wed. I'm sure there will be a gain. Too much sugar around lately. I need to get back to higher protein, lower carb, but I just can't seem to get motivated to do it or to stick with it. I think part of it for me is that it's been cooler out, and when it's like that warm bread, rolls, pastries, and anything carb-y sounds good.
Okay, now that I've gotten my negativity out, I need to move on with my day.

It is so interesting that the diet is the most important thing about weight loss/maintenance but it's the workouts that keep us in line on our diets. I can not keep my diet right without the workout too. Don't stress about the interview. We are always our own worst critic. Move on with the day and workout so that you can feel the motivation again.
