I suck. I cannot diet and I do not exercise.
145.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 6.0 lb a week

No you don't. We all have had moments like these. I have even given up mths at a time. But it isn't over yet until you give up for good. Tomorrow is another day. Don't beat yourself up any more today. Just spend time thinking about what went wrong (without blaming yourself)and make a plan to make sure it doesn't happen tomorrow. My big downfall is not food shopping and/or cooking. Then I get hungry and well you can guess what happens then. Then I messed up in the morning so I may as well mess up the rest of the day kind of thinking. Just remember you CAN and WILL do it with a little planning and preperation and praise yourself for even the smallest steps. Today you forgive and tomorrow you achieve!

I completely feel what you are going through..... Not losing any weight - not gaining today, but not losing and so frustrated. I gained 20 pounds in the past year. I am going to take the comments others gave to you and try to remember those instead of the horrid things I say to myself in my own head. Good luck to you - and to me..... peace

I am just like you. And, I am now walking 3 miles five times a week. In an hour or less per walk. If anyone told me a month ago I would be walking fifteen miles a week, I'd have called them a straight up liar. I can't diet. But, I can do my darndest to choose to make a healthy decision about whatever I'm about to eat. I did choose to drink only water, ok, I have one coffee with some coffeemate and a tap of sugar at work. But I drink 9 glasses of water a day. And, I am amazed at how big a difference just being well hydrated makes! U can start from right where u r. In fact, how u feel right now is a perfect starting point. U will only improve from here! Even if you just walk for five minutes, that's more than u walked yesterday. It's free and it does get easier. When I started....just a month ago......I could barely handle a mile. Had to stop half a dozen times. Now I walk without needing to stop. I have less back pain. It helps relieve daily stress. So much inspiration is available here. Please know u r not alone. We believe in you!
