I'm having a woe-is-me day... I've been feeling sorry for myself the last few weeks and I need to stop. I haven't been watching what I eat like I should be and I haven't been exercising. I need to get my shit together and get my head out of the clouds.... I need to refocus my diet and start exercising again...
I know one thing that needs to go is the junk and granola bars we have been eating. I eat too many of them... I need to find healthier lower calorie snacks like fruit. I'm depending on them too much. Also more veggies, fish and protein and less carbs.... I need to get it together and quit moping just because I have medical problems, that is not an excuse to be foolish.

What's going on with the doctor visit - if that is not too nosey to ask you? Just concerned about you, Buddy.

:) I don't go back again until next month. I need to call and check on the blood work. The doctor told me he would call me if he saw anything abnormal. When I looked at the notes it said he would call if more lab work was needed. I think he didn't mark down he was going to call if anything was abnormal... I go back to the doctor the 9th.... I guess we'll talk then about what is going on. I've been taking some vitamins that have been helping. Vitamin C, B12, b-complex. I feel better than I did but still not 100%.. I'll take it considering how I was feeling.

I like to have natural, unsalted almonds as my go-to snack when I have a craving!

CJT1217 Mee too! The only thing I would say is its good to diversify your nuts (lol) and seeds, so I have natural trailmix too, and its good to remember almonds are mostly fats (with little protein) so its VERY calorie dense and if eaten with sugar can be stored as fat.

haha! Ya, I try to mix em up. I typically will allow myself any nuts and seeds, but it's the macadamias and especially the cashews that I have to watch out for. Those things are addicting!
