I got a feather in my cap today. My daughter told me how her science teacher commented on the fact that she didn't recognize me at first when I went to drop my daughter off at school today because of all the weight I had lost so far. I've been losing weight so gradually that I don't always notice the difference as much any more. But, thinking about it I realize how much progress I've already made. I'm at least 15lbs lighter than when I first met my husband and lighter than I think I've ever been after having any of my kids. Being so focused on getting to my goal its sometimes easy to forget how much progress I've already made and it feels good to step back and reflect on that for a change.
