I think im just going to try keto again. Im not getting much help from anyone on this app. Funny, coz I joined so I could have some support....now its just a calorie counter. But I keep trying in hopes that someone will have a heart and give a little help, or advice.

A lot of people also do the 28 day diet and do really good.. I've tried it many times and got past the second week (but cheated 2 times) 🙈 I need to snack between breakfast and lunch otherwise I'll start eating everything and then I fall off the diet wagon.. Haha... But you can give it a try, I really support everyone on the 28 day diet because I can't do it, I'll try it one day again when I can control my calorie intake and see if I can loose weight with the diet..

@RobAntStone do you have to eat as many calories as you are surposed to aswell. Coz sometimes its just too much for me and I end up with cramps coz Im too full. If I eat less than my daily recomendation, will that make a difference?

I adopted the fasting lifestyle & lost about 5 kg in one year. I wasn't very strict & I drink a lot of wine, but I'm also still learning what works & what don't. This past 2 months I've been able to keep a stable weight over weekends, which previously I would eat a lot of crap & then pick up all the weight that I had lost during the week, but not anymore. So for me, over weekends, I have 2 eggs, fried in butter & either a minute steak or chicken breast with that, also fried in butter. That would be lunch, between 1 pm & 2 pm & then dinner. I follow a combination of keto/banting/paleo loosely.

Counting calories and learning what's in your food, ie healthy fats, protein, sugars and carbs. And find yummy meals to make so you enjoy it, change your life style and feel more energetic. I lost 20kgs in 8 months and have managed to keep it off. I still enjoy cake, fizzy drinks and a chocolate here and there but all in moderation.

I went to a braai the other day and drank almost a whole litre of coke! So bad! Thanks for the advice guys. Ive started keto again today. Doing well. Just struggling to keep my carbs under 20 and I feel like Im starving. Drinking loads of water and also not reaching my calories for the day? argh....I will get it right eventually!

I 🤔 think Keto is great and the food is fabulous.. forget about the scale and calories, u do just great as long as u eat healthy fats and reduce your carb intake then u are good to go.. One thing I like about Keto is that it's not a diet but a lifestyle, there's no duration. 😁😄😉

Coke Zero is such a great alternative! I’m on a Keto And Carb-deficit diet. It’s okay, never had as much greens in my life. But the veggies are important for the weight loss so.. Using this app is great tho! Just log your meals (log the items individually) and get a fit bit or smart watch. Will let you see the calories burnt vs calorie intake and then keep the carbs below 30g per day.

@Nozwakele.. Coffee, unsalted butter, coconut oil ,unsweetened cocoa, cinnamon and cream (that's how I make my bulletproof coffee) I use a blender to make it more frothy and delicious 😋.. U may check my bio to see pics

What works for me is never missing breakfast avoiding processed, added sugars and filling my plate with veges. In the past I was able to drop 8kg over 3 months but I got stupid and did bad things again

I also try to keep within 1200kcal and actually find that what I eat keep me full. Usually my day starts with 2 weetbix with l/fat milk. Starchy vege like butternut or corn with 2/3tbsp of rice, green beans or broccoli with meat. An apple or two, then veges again for supper with a protein. I don't add sugar or eat junk and lost 1kg/1week since I started again. The culprit is the added/hidden sugar. Naturally occurring is okay but not too much if trying to lose weight. Oats is also great for breakfast
