This past week has been my birthday week. We went camping for 3 days, so we were pretty active (kayaking, hiking), but I ate pretty horribly the entire time. No formal exercise since like, last Wednesday. Add in drinking excessively, and then going out to hibachi last night for my official birthday dinner, and here I am! back at 230.

I have accepted it. and now I'm over it. Gonna get back on track.

I have loads of cleaning and unpacking to do from our trip, and came across a box of leftover cookies (yum) from the trip. I picked one up. Smelled it.... thought about it real hard. Realized: "if I eat this right now, I'm basically giving myself permission to eat like crap the rest of the day" and then I thought "These cookies weren't actually all that good (prepackaged, processed kind), I just want it because I know I shouldn't eat it".... "well, Ive gotta start back somewhere so it might as well be today..."

AND THEN I THREW THE REST OF THE COOKIES AWAY :D

So now I'm drinking my coffee with a splash of almond/coconut milk in it, writing down my grocery list and trying to get an exercise plan in motion. I pulled something in my back packing everything up yesterday, so I gotta take it kinda easy on the lower back, but I'm thinking for today a nice Yoga stretching routine... something to just get me back in the habit and help stretch out my sore camping muscles !!!
