Been avoiding the scale since I have been trying to stuff emotions with food. I actually did not realize it until yesterday. Last Monday I found that my dog (my girl as I call her) has cancer cells. She'd had a tumor removed (benign)in January, but a few weeks back had another removed (this time with one of her nipples) and not good. I guess I reverted to eating, not even thinking...mindless eating, even stuffing myself. I think that with an ex friending me on FB and chit chatting, it's been a whirlwind week (or two). Today trying to get back on track and being more mindful and not just eating and going WAY over my daily intake. Tomorrow I will brave the scale.
