Goal Weight
195.0 lb
Still to go: 24.2 lb
Well, I am not new to the weight loss game. I am hoping this will be the last time (and then maintain). A few years ago, the over 5(0) happened. Metabolism was never high, I had even been through some heavy duty testing in NYC at Mt. Sinai as part of a program with a dr. that worked on WW Points system. Outcome at age 34 was, I can eat 1200 calories to maintain 167 lbs. Which means I probably need to eat 1,000 to maintain 167 today. It's no wonder I got to over 300 lb after menopause, and eating what I felt like. Just fyi, don't believe the hype....cravings for sweets or carbs---NEVER goes away for me. Never was a real sweets person, but something happened a few years ago, I think I became a "sugar junkie". For now I am making small goals. And yes, I have gone Keto for periods, low carb, now just trying to stay with smaller portions. I still believe #s matter, calories more than anything. Staying within the Zone (roughly 30/30/40)

First goal met 2/2015 below 300.
Working on temporary goal of 200, and I mean maintaining since I have been lower and seem to be staying around 200-204 for months.

Currently trying to achieve 195 (would really want it to be 155--baby steps)
Now the real goal would be 165 but I do it baby steps. At 140 my head looked like a bobble head. I think for many 155-165 would seem to high at my height, but I don't think I'd mind those numbers.

Need Motivation
I know it is hard to avoid co-workers, but look at your accomplished results. Trust me I know that stuck weight better than anyone. That 202 is the magical stuck weight (at least for me). I am older than you so metabolism is SLOW, so the good thing is, that you have youth on your side. If you keep doing the right thing, you will lose it faster than me. Just sayin! Smile Good luck!!! Put on headphones, and you can complain to us, we are not going to attack you ....promise!

its so hard to train ur brain to eat healthy
Train the body and the mind will follow. Proteins first, then veggies. After a while, you will see it happens. Smile

How can I edit nutritional information for an item in FS already?
On the website, when you are looking at the food listed click into it and you will see the full nutrition data....look down and right above the RDI, you will see "Is this information inaccurate or incomplete?

Atkins
Forgot to mention, I was doing Atkins for a few weeks. Right after I bought ketostix a few weeks in, BAM went full force to carbs which I had not done in many years. I think I am one that needs to have in moderation.

Atkins
Just like Lisa1984 I go up and down. Been a tad more stable the past couple of years, I blame it on not having the motivation I did when I was younger. Back when you would do a fast for weeks, eat just this or that. Diablo 360x is right and I think most of us know it, LIFESTYLE CHANGE. My last fallback to old patterns, got too tired (work 7 days a week) and with this damn heat, had ZERO motivation and stopped going to the gym. So double whammy, no gym and tired (exhausted)would come home and stuff. Stuff to feed my hunger and then stuff to comfort me. Yeap, old habits don't die easily. I even stopped tracking food....avoidance behaviour...hadn't done that since around 2012 or 2014. YIKES!
