Well I'm happy to get a new fridge I wish that the maintenance man had done a little bit more on the house instead of just saying oh there's a leak in your fridge we've ordered you a new one here's a fan... So I use towels and blankets to dried up the carpet to prevent mold. I'd say it took me probably off and on for about 14 hours drying the floor to get it mostly dry continuously now I am just using the industrial fan and my personal house fans to dry the living room so it's very noisy. I will say that between drying the floor manually and using the industrial fan it has seemed to helped prevent an odor which is one of my main concerns as well as mold building from the leak. But for my understanding since the fridge is still leaking it could just be going under the floor somewhere else. But honestly I don't believe that the refrigerator was ever the issue I believe the maintenance man leaped on this without much investigation because the drain pipe in the back has a tendency to clog up and Ryan hadn't cleared it out recently. It is true that we probably needed a new fridge, but I personally believe that it's actually the tiling on the roof that's the problem. One day when I was in the upstairs bathroom I noticed a little bit of brown by the air vent in the ceiling personally I suspect that the roof is leaking causing the water to leak down probably around the joists of the house seep down through the air conditioning vents settle in that area and then seep down in the floor when it rains heavily as it was the day that it flooded. I think over time that leak has become substantially more and more of a problem. And the three and a half almost 4 years that we've lived here I've never seen the evidence of them re roofing the house which is a little odd to me since all of the apartments around us have had it done by those other rental companies. Now granted I'm not in the maintenance person, but I have lived in a lot of questionable locations and personally I do not believe that this is the problem. Ryan feels though that it's best to go ahead and get the new fridge since the old fridge had issues and then to address it if it happens again. I personally don't like the idea that the maintenance being literally walked around to the circle for less than 15 minutes didn't really investigate anything beyond moving the refrigerator saying that there was no water behind the refrigerator and saying huh it must be going under the floor and coming back up on your living room for evidence. But I may be being judgy and I'll let them make the best decisions as they feel fit at this time.

Has there been sick I knew it was a high likelihood most of my regulars have had pretty significant illness as well as a lot of my coworkers have been working while sick. Joey came back from Vegas this week the company sent him for a week in Vegas to be with all the other store managers never mind they cut hours due to money issues and budget concerns... That's neither here nor there when he came back he had a lovely new respiratory illness Joey is also my ride to work in the morning since I've become blind on my right eye he's very kind to do this but there is of course the added bonus of sharing germs due to close proximity. In addition we've been running crazy hard at work this week we've had a call in every day Miss Ashley decided to walk out she's now been negotiated to come back to us but for most of the week she was not working her shifts so it was been a very difficult week. I know that I pushed myself too hard and my rheumatologist it already warned me about this on Monday when I went to see him I've been very naughty in the fact that I haven't contacted my neurologist like my rheumatologist had suggested because I'm having quite a few symptoms of my other medications not working up to snuff and he's concerned about my increased neurological symptoms. Over the last 3 weeks I've had some concerning signs come back since they tapered off my secondary immune suppressant I lost time one day, I passed out four times now, my fatigue issues have been markedly worse, and I've had two experiences in which I passed out in fatigue spells in dangerous situations once while in the bath and once well attempting to cook dinner. So he does have a good point that I need to contact the neurologist but every day I've been so overwhelmed with so much work and trying to get the house situated and the flooding then honestly I just haven't had time to contact the neurologist. And subconsciously I know that I'm avoiding it because he's going to get me in for another MRI and another set of appointments and more medications and I honestly I just I'm so tired of being sick sometimes I know that's just ridiculous but it's true.

Prayers for your health!! Glad to hear you are getting the leaky fridge resolved.

Leah, i know you are resilient and a fantastic problem solver. That being said, it is imperative that you put your health first. I know i asked you before why ryan could not take on more of the chores to help you and i do remember what you said but perhaps now is the time to pass the baton. When i lost consciousness in November i gashed my head requiring stitches and also gave myself a 3x2 hematoma on the base of my skull. Im lucky i didnt bleed out internally from it to be honest. Passing out is very very dangerous. You must must prioritize yourself. Those babies need the best healthiest version of Leah they can receive and you running yourself ragged because its what you are used to doesnt make sense when dealing with the medical challenges your are now facing. This is said out of concern and care for your well being. You are so resourceful and kind hearted but lavish yourself with some of that kindness you so willingly extend to others my dear.

I love Ryan but for as much as he's willing to do chores he doesn't seem to complete them... For example we've switched chores and that's because when he was doing the dishes they never were done and so I was just doing them for him. Now he switched to the laundry and now the laundry 🧺 sits there in clean heaps in the 🧺 s (I wash and dry clothes but it's his job to fold and move to dresser drawers). But I'm a lot more willing to deal with clean laundry sitting in piles after I washed it then my dishes being dirty. He means well and he does more now than he's ever done before he is improving. Even if its slow going in this way he's doing more now than he's ever done previous to me getting sick and it is a improvement. Ayla is my all-star and helps out on weekdays to earn her Crunchyroll subscription for 1 hour (her quality of work isn't the best but the help is very beneficial to me and I appreciate it all the same). Right now we're trying to focus more on me moving to a slower paced job and him picking up more hours at his job since he makes more money and he has more able to perform hours his job since he doesn't have any major physical health issues. You are right that passing out is quite dangerous and I did have a head injury that I couldn't explain that I had to tell the doctor about because I didn't remember falling but I did have swelling and some bruising on my head. I have rested this weekend so that has helped I'm still not feeling well. I also still have doubts about the refrigerator being the problem for the leak. I personally believe that the roof is the problem and so I'm very concerned but the maintenance department wishes to sort out each problem as it comes and they wish to fix the fridge issue and then go from there as they stated. I personally do not feel that this is a good proactive way to search for a leak and that this will cause more housing damage over time but since it is neither in my property nor my money I cannot influence them further. In addition after calling today apparently they have failed to locate a fridge at this time so I'm going to have to buy groceries no later than Wednesday I'll have to buy at least a few things by tomorrow and I have a friend and her two children coming over tomorrow night for dinner. I also have to take my children by the doctor tomorrow to get an update on their immunizations so that they can continue with their schooling. So it will be a very busy day but luckily I finally got in the carpet mostly dried out.would prevent him from doing so.

Cmon1, it's not so much a recipe as I'm trying eliminate everything that might be in the freezer/refrigerator before we get a new one supply to us by our rental company. But it's about 3/4 cup of rice covered with veggies. I chose to cook frozen carrots for about 2 minutes in the microwave in water then added some frozen peas and cooked for another 30 seconds and drained well. I had some leftover frozen green beans from dinner the night before that I added as well. In addition my husband works and outback and he brought some twoomba sauce home from work and so I put about 1/4 of a cup of that sauce on top to give it a little flavor. Also added a sprinkle of Asian crunch seasoning and salt and pepper to rice. It did turn out very good and I do think I would make it again. 😊
