Update:

I went to the main doctor for the program yesterday and he was really upset that the general doctor changed my eating plan. It turns out that doctor was fired because he was changing everyone's plans and he wasn't supposed to do so, that's why they have nutritionists that are aware of all our health conditions. He even went all the way to ask people to quit the program and hire him directly. What a douchebag. Anyway, my doctor got me an appointment today with my nutritionist so she could revisit the plan with me. They say the program is about creating healthy habits that will last for life, not restrictive ones that will make us lose weight but potentially gain it all back when we go back to bad habits again. Other than that, he was happy and congratulated me on my progress. They may prescribe some kind of weigh loss medicine during the next couple of months.

I went to the nutritionist today and she was livid about the other dr. But we reviewed the plan again. I'm to never skip breakfast, lunch or dinner. She said I can do with or without snacks, as long as they're healthy (from an approved list) She also congratulated me because my measurements are reducing, slowly but steady and I'm well on track to getting my surgery. I want the surgery not as much for the weigh loss but for the extra skin that I'll have after I lose all the weight. The program will take care of that as long as I adhere to it for the whole year.

That's all I have for today. I'm really happy about that but still very stressed about getting a new place that I can afford.

Have a great day FS family 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

Weight loss medicine and life time healthy habits for losing and maintaining !? Strange. Totally different, not matching, approaches.

I know!! I think the medicine is because they say it's too hard for me to lose all the weight on my own and just doing a maintenance diet and working out. But they still want me to lose the weight, I don't know if when I stop the medicine the weight will come back but it looks like it wouldn't. I really don't know.

Ask all questions about weight reducing surgery. You did not specify what kind you are planning on. For example, many patients who went through stomach reduction have to get injections of complex B… for the rest of their lives. Doctors usually do not discuss such things before. Or that some patients even after this surgery cannot stop eating large portions of food… and return to preop condition. Willpower matters after surgery también. So, rely and count only on yourself. If you could lose that much weight on your own, may be it is the way to go. Good luck!

Glad you got a nutritionist. It was a game changer for me. They will help you learn about healthy eating and help you manage your plan. That other Dr sounds🤪..I'm glad you found out early!! Good luck!!👍👍

Lyu Bov your comments are really disappointing. There are a slew of recently or blushed research articles proving that lack of “willpower” is not the cause of obesity. To infer otherwise is insulting and denies peer reviewed scientific evidence.

Thank you Emma, Diana, Lyu, otb, and HCB!!! You're all awesome. Emma, you're absolutely right! My obesity comes from a few hormonal disorders among other things. I don't tend to over eat. Lyu, I don't really eat big portions, my stomach can't handle it. I'm used to small meals throughout the day. Having said so, it weren't the best kind o meals and I did drink way too much soda, but that's what the program is there for, is a whole year of preparing for a healthy rest of my life :) As for the surgery I'm not sure which one it would be, I'm guessing the gastric sleeve (?) But I'm sure my doctors will be very thorough explaining the pros and cons and everything about it :) HCB, I'm so scared about not being able to find a new place on time, but also kind of excited, maybe the future has great things in place for me. Diana, ❤️❤️❤️
