Didn't make my 25g net carb goal for the day bc we had dinner at a friend's and they made couscous. Only went 7g over and I'm not going to beat myself up about it because my mantra for this attitude reversal is "personal forgiveness".
I figured today would be tough because I've been following my keto plan religiously for 6 days now and I might start to rationalize that I've been 'good enough'. Armed with that knowledge, I feel better equipped to succeed. A team mate brought cookies and I told myself a firm NO. My father dropped off italian chocolates from his recent business trip and I could murder him. I immediately let my husband know amd he told me under no circumstances am I allowed to eat them until I know the carb count. He knows, I wouldn't be able to stop until the box was finished. Go me!
