Since my husband has been house bound with a broken foot, I like to enlist his help whenever possible. I have lost enough weight that I am down an entire jean size- to an 18 and now those are getting loose. I figured sinc I didn't measure myself when I started that now would be the next best time. I was having some difficulty measuring my waist and my hips so I though I would have him help me. If I measures and then remeasured, I would always come up with something different. He is a stickler for accuracy and data. We got the hips and the waist done to my satisfaction at which point it was then time to measure my bust. That's when his ADD kicked in. lol He measured and remeasured and pretty soon he was VERY DISTRACTED. I'll leave the rest of the story to your imagination. It was just too funny! And then he wonders if we need to do these measurements a few times a week. Such ahelpful guy.
I have increased my calories now to 1800 and my nc to 30.This will be day 4 for the calorie increase and I can already feel a difference. It really makes sense about stalls and starvation mode. I wish I had been at 1800 through this entire journey instead of starting now. Maybe my loss would have been steadier this last few weeks. At any rate, it will be an interesting experiment.I am back down to 208# this morning. That's the lowest point I have been since starting Atkins. I was briefly here at 208 about a week ago but then TOM arrived and I haven't seen it since. I am hoping for the whoosh tomorrow--> where I wake up and 3# are magically gone. My goal was to get to 200 by my birthday but I think I'll be a little short this year.
Today will be the second time I do the kettlebell workout. I still feel the sche in my legs from Sunday's debacle. I am so glad my husband wasn't watching me do it.I was so uncoordinated. He's very supportive and he new I'd be self conscious so he went in the bedrom and elevated his foot for a while. Yesterday's exercise consisted of a 1.25 mile walk. alf of what I normally do but man oh man, my legs were like spaghetti. I just couldn't do the entire 2.5 miles. This cardio stuff sure isn't for sissies!
Overall, I feel hopeful and encouraged. I can do ALL things, through Christ, who strengthens me.

Congratulations on the baggy jeans! What a great feeling. I've had trouble getting my measurements also, but alas,I don't have a husband to help. NO FUN AT ALL! That ADD shows up at the most peculiar times! Have a good night, Sherill!
