Thanks for your help on getting rid of those darn chocolate covered cherries. I had the chance to regift them last night and they are now in the hands of someone who will appreciate them!!! And not in my belly, he he he...

Well guys and gals we survived another holiday season filled with treats, goodies and extra helpings. It is time to start thinking about new years resolutions. Here are mine:

-I resolve to exercise 5 days a week for 30 minutes each day.
-I resolve to dedicate 1 hour out of each 24 hour day to me time or alone time.
-I resolve to treat every person in my life with the utmost respect.


I have learned that I am still establishing my exercise habits and need to set a routine in place that allows no excuses. Sometimes I plan on exercising and then before I know it the whole day passes me by. I am also noticing that if I dont get my exercise in early in the morning, there always seems to be some other responsibility that takes presidence over exercise.

This year I noticed that there have been days or even weeks that have flown by where I have spent my time taking care of others and handling many responsibilities and I have not even 1 moment to myself. I realized that there are 24 hours in each day and it is my duty to take time for myself every day, as it will make me more stable and a heathier, happier person.

The last one is for those closest to me and my children. I have said many things to those I love this year that I regret and weigh heavy in my heart. These things were unintentional, but they slipped right out of my mouth. I have to relearn to think before I speak, especially to those closest to me.

Good for you on regifting and for setting goals. I've not set any yet. I don't do well with long range goals.
