For some reason, i have been unable to follow my diet for the last month. Could be that February is a difficult month here.
I make no secret of the fact that I am addicted to sugar. Seems that now I will have to take ALL sweeteners out of my diet. PERIOD. I suppose when I eliminate all sweeteners it will be much easier.
I keep thinking that it time to join OA. I have suffered from depression for many, many years. Never could get the meds right so I just gave up on them. Eating was so much easier and readily available. Food is the friend that won't let you down. Maybe it is time for a support group. Hearing other people who have learned to deal with overeating may be the answer.

Okay, haven't been following Atkins the way I should. But, haven't gone totally crazy, either. Today is the day to start on the next 20 pounds.
I quit smoking 5 years ago and have since gained like 40 pounds. Now is I am struggling to take the weight back off. I didn't gain it overnight, and I'm not going to lose it overnight.
One thing about Fatsecret is that I know I am NOT alone in my journey. There are others out there who are facing the same demons and struggles that I face. I had considered also joining OA, but something about it just doesn't feel right.
I appreciate all the support I have gotten here, and if I can play it forward, I am more than happy to.
