I am a thirty six year old, struggling to lose, or even maintain my weight... I'm a regular at two gyms, and I run about 5 miles 6 days a week... I have a five year old son that keeps me hoppin, and if he doesnt, my four horses,two goats, six dogs, and four cats will,ha... Thank goodness my hubby is a veterinarian. Love the outdoors, and love to travel... Seem to find the time to fit in one really nice trip a year, have one coming up in fact... Gotta lose poundage!!!!Oh, and I love red wine as much as I love running.... Big downfall in my weight loss, I'm sure...

Where is everyone from?
Normandy Tn, very small town, I drive to Tullahoma where there are 2 grocery stores. We have, of coarse, the famous one stop shopping at WAL-HELL, as I like to call it.. I prefer to shop at Kroger, because they seem to have fresher produce.. Not much more around here.. Hubby has a animal hospital, and I help him some, but try to stay out of there as much as possible.. I enjoy my 5 yr old son and all of our animals.. My son calls them his brothers and sisters.. We are way out in the country, but it only takes about an hour to get to Nashville, an hour and a half to Chattanooga.. I like to visit the honkey tonks in nashville a few times a year, but wouldnt live in the city for any reason.. Love wide open spaces, and our privacy..

Stop running!!????
I'm not going to quit running.. I am, however, going to drop down to 3 days a week, and shorter much faster runs.. The other days I plan on strength training, and heck, just working my horses for an hour a day.. I usually get plenty winded doing that..If I give up running all together, I'd soon be in a straight jacket somewhere, lol...

Holy smokes!!!! 5 lbs a week would be great for me... I will definitely try recording what I'm shoveling in, and switch up the program... Of course, last time I tried sb diet, I was training for a marathon.. So stupid of me, I literally almost fell out at mile 8 one morning... This was day 3 of the diet.. So, needless to say, I got home that day, and started shoveling in the carbs...

If I was gaIining muscle weight, wouldnt my midsection get smaller?My jeans just keep getting tighter on my rear , thighs and what should be my waste...

I gained fat... At least my jeans said fat... Everyone always said," Oh it's probably just muscle".. If that were true, I would have lost around the middle instead of getting thicker...lol, I have no waste...
