I did it!!!!! I survived 5 de Mayo weekend with no coronas, no taquitos, no tacos, no quesadillas...nothing!
I had miller light as an alternative, and while ppl munched away on tortillas chips or whatever, I was doing fine munchin on carrots and celery, some cheese and deli sausage. I did really well. I was proud of myself.
Weighed myself htis morning and stayed at 148...woohoo! I though for sure I was going to be up, but I will take it. No gain!!!
Anyway, I was a survivor. Only 11 more days for my vacation, and Im feeling pretty good. I wont be all skinny and at my goal weight, but I will be happy with my effort. Right!

OK, What do I do???? This weekend, on Saturday, as some of you might know there is a big fight, De La Hoya vs Mayweather. Who cares right? Well, me because where I'm going to watch the fight there is going to be sooooooooo much food. Ok, I can handle the food, its the BEER, the corona'sm the alcohol. Its my weakness!!!! God give me strength!!!!
Oh and I have to share...I kinda cheated last night at dinner. I was starving and ate 2 pieces of chicken breast (from Pollo Loco) and some veggies...Ok not that bad right, well without even noticing I took a hug bite out of my son's churro...when I realized it, I still had it in my mouth I could have spitted it out, but chose not too..(it was good) and then I justified with...Its not going to kill me. RIGHT!
BUT THEN.......I had about 3 bites of a quesadilla too. WTF!!!!
I am disappointed in myself. I gave in; but despite slipping, I do feel good this morning, but definitely didnt weigh myself. I even feel heavier, it probably went right to my ASS...haha
But anyway, had to get things off my chest, and please wish me luck over this weekend. I cant mess up...I cant!

I TOTALLY LIED! I said I wasnt going to weigh myself until Friday, but I couldn't resist the urge. So I weighed myself, and YAY Im down another pound, good thing becasue I would have been so bummed had it said something different. Maybe it was just being nice to me...haha
Anyway, I will NOT weigh myself again, promise. Its so disheartening when you dont see changes, and then thats when you throw in the towel...I will NOT be a slave to the scale...
So wish me luck, and I will weigh in, in a few more days.

LOST 1 POUND!!
I know its only a pound, and I probably just pee'd it all out, but hey a pound is a pound.
I wont weigh in again until Friday. It gets discouraging when it doesnt change on a daily basis. Im going to hide the scale...haha
Anyway, I will check in again, but wanted to share.
Have not gotten off track, and have been exercising.

Can someone help me?
What do you think? Im not necessarily following any type of diet, but it kind of seems like Atkins, just lean proteins, right? If so, should I switch to Atkins. What Im eating, is it on track, so to speak. Anyone ever do Lindora? am I eating enough calories.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Breakfast: Hard Boil Egg, and half apple
Snack - Protein Bar
Lunch - Chicken strips (Grilled) 200 calories, 2 carbs,
Snack - cottage cheese that comes in individual containter
Dinner - Chicken Breast, and mixed veggies
Snack - Jicama
