So, I'm on the downhill side of 40 now, 14 years being married, and our youngest is about to turn 5. When I was 18, I weighed over 200 lbs, but through a variety of approaches, I've been down as low as 150 last year. Trying to get back there, as I added about 20 lbs somehow. The goal is to hit 150 by the time of my 15th anniversary. At the same time, I don't want to lose muscle mass, so I'm working out with heavy weights, and eating lots of protein. Hopefully it goes well!

Just a bit of food for thought for those who do LCHF Or KETO. Like Myself.
On NuSI trying to destroy Keto- I know Peter Attia, one of the founders of NuSI, was quite the proponent of nutritional ketosis as a way to lose weight at one point. I also know that the goal of NuSI is to try to do science that breaks through much of the hype thrown around about many dietary approaches, and find approaches that are backed by good studies.
Now, I didn't see either the video or the response to the video, but if NuSI commissioned a study that disproved one of the major tenets of a founder's belief, and they are putting it out there anyway, maybe kudos to them.
And there are people who have claimed that ketosis has a metabolic advantage. The thinking is that when the body produces ketones, much of that production has to be eliminated in the urine before it is used for energy. This is one of the few (if not only) way your body will eliminate energy. If that really happened, you could run a much greater metabolic deficit eating the same number of calories in a keto regime compared to a non-keto regime.
But maybe that doesn't happen, or it's not a significant enough effect to make a difference.
