Didn't work out for a week. That muscle comes and goes with a quickness. Wondering if the only way I will be able to lose weight with this IGF1 pituitary issue is to work out every other week?

This is the point where I usually give up. I just can't get the scales to go down. In fact, they are inching up. I have a strange pituitary issue where I produce a lot more of a particular hormone (IGF1) than most, which means every time I get serious about working out and getting in shape I either gain weight or stay the same. It's very rare that I lose weight while working out. I tend to lose if I stop working out. So, I get discouraged because it has never been my goal to be big and muscular. I want to be a delicate f*8king flower! lol.
Anyway, today I was feeling discouraged so I put on a pair of pants that I bought last summer at the thrift store. I couldn't get them over my bum when I bought them, but I've lost four inches off of my hips so I can wear them now! Even though my weight isn't budging, I'm going to celebrate the little things (like my new butt.)
