Well things have surely gotten better. I now eat less,and depending on the type of meal that I am consuming,I feel satisfied. Also working on recognizing the instant that I stop feeling hungry when I am eating. You know how it is, when you just eat because it is in front of you. This is not entirely the fault of our adult selves,considering that some of us grew up in homes that insisted that we clean our plates, even though we were not hungry anymore.Aha Mom it is your fault!LOL No just kidding, lost three pounds,and it's only been a week since I started on this website.Went to Zumba class today and afterwards did 30 minutes on treadmill.Today is a very good day.

I have been following my diet pretty well but have not been keeping up with my journal and diet planner. Will try to do better this week.

Not doing well but also could be worse. Ate a few things that I should not have eaten. OK enough of the pity and gnashing of the teeth. I did what I did and now its time to forgive and forget, which by the way is especially hard when you are trying to forgive yourself.Yes once again I was beaten down by the co-workers and their eating ways.Somebody tell me why we have to buy or cook food to celebrate the departure of a co-worker who by the way you may not even like, yet you are expected to sit and break bread with them.Diet be danged because Miss Smith in department who knows is leaving. Oh let us not forget the baby shower where you know you will have that extra piece of cake. Lets face it we eat too much and that is why we have decided to do something about it. So I was weak and now I am back on track and ready to rock! Will I get weak again? Maybe, maybe not and it really dosent matter because my job is not only to keep my eyes on the prize,but also to remember that I am human and I will err in judgement.Hey isnt that how I got fat?

Happy to say that I have not deviated from my diet. There have been times when I felt as if my stomach had sunk to my back it was so empty, but I held on and drank water or whatever I had to do to keep from eating.Coworkers were inviting me out to lunch and let me tell you they brought out the big guns."Let's go out and eat girl we can go to......or to the new......that just opened up. It wont hurt you to have it every now and then."Have you heard the term misery loves company?"So I pulled out my homemade lunch and sat alone while my dear beloved fellow over weight friends went out and enjoyed some pizza.I shall miss my friends....Oh no not my coworkers I mean my friends Mr. Pizza and Mamas Ribs! LOL Hang in there guys because we are all in this together. Remember eat to live and dont live to eat.

Well so far so good but the [weak end] is here and I must stay strong.Keep your eyes on the prize everyone and have a [fruit full] weekend.
