Been doing well at the gym...things just are not moving. BUT, I am not fully discouraged yet. Maybe walking and weights are just not enough to make a difference yet...keep pushing forward with my head held up...not necessarily held high yet.
My family is going through a hard time these days with my aunt's terminal cancer progressing. Make sure your family and friends know how much they mean to you. Things happen faster then anyone can plan, and there is never "enough" time on this earth.

After some wonderful encouragement from a friend of mine I decided to forget about the numbers on the scale yesterday. I did go to the gym last night and I am so proud of myself!! 3 days in a row is nothing really to be that proud of, but Dammit I am proud!! Sounds silly, but I actually feel thinner today!! Thanks also to some wonderful words of encouragement sent to me through FS...you guys are wonderful!! Today may be a short time at the gym, but I AM going...it's my WONDERFUL nephew's 1st birthday today so I am going to celebrate!! NO CAKE for this girl though!!

OK, I posted my last update TOO soon...now I am frustrated...the scale today says I gained 7 pounds!! NO WAY!! Days like these make me think "what's the point?" I know its a slow process, and I didn't gain this weight in a short period of time, but come on...gaining 7 pounds on my first week of really focusing on my exercise is just not fair!! Now I am no longer in a good mood, in fact I am quite bummed. So...now I have to work ALL day at convincing myself to hit the gym tonight. Fantastic...these are the days that made me give up in the past, but I refuse to do that again. I just want to scream!!

Good Morning FS!! I went to the gym Saturday AND Sunday this weekend!! It felt wonderful!! I walked 2 miles each day on the treadmill then used the weight machines. I have come to the realization that I will not be actually RUNNING much in the 5K coming up. I am very nervous about my back, but I am ok with this. I figure walking 3 miles is better than skipping it altogether! now I need to get my butt to the gym tonight, drink more water, and watch what I eat! Have a GREAT day!!

went to the gym again last night!! WHOOP WHOOP!! Going tonight too!! It's much easier now that I can go right when I get home from work!! We have a long weekend ahead of taking care of LEAVES!! My worst yard project ever, but at least it burns calories!!
I will try to behave this weekend with eating, but beer will be flowing!!
