I learned that the RDI this site has recommended will not help me loose weight! I has me eating more than I am suppose to just to maintain my weight! WTF?
I went here to calculate mine. It works really well

I think I figured out my calories with this Pedometer.
each step I burn .065 calories per step. That is 131 calories per mile. So for my goal of 7,000 I would burn 455 calories in a day.
Not very much!

Yesterday (the 18th) I didn't make my 7k mark for steps. I made around 6200. I attempted to go up 5 flights of stairs earlier in the day and wore my legs out really bad! I know that is pretty sad.
Today I have done really good. I walked on my break and parked extra far away to gain more steps. Anytime I was going down stairs I took them down. I went to my therapist today and she was running late so I walked around her neighborhood for a good 15-20 minutes to gain steps.
I am feeling SO much better now that I am watching what I eat and up and moving. I am more motivated now about getting in shape than I have ever been. I really hope it lasts and this isn't just one of my phases.
I am determined to loose 50lbs by May. I want to go to NY with my mother this year and I need to get into serious shape to be able to enjoy myself with all this walking.
My company has decided to pay for me to go to the gym and to school. I start them both on Monday night! I will go to the gym at 4pm when I get off work and then classes are from 6-9pm. I am going to be worn out but I really want to stick to this.
2011 is my year!

I needed to update my weight. Eric didn't fill out the correct number in here when he set up my account. I was 258 on Thursday the 20th. My current goal is 7,000 steps a day with my pedometer.
I did 7406 steps!
I can't figure out how to add my steps into the exercise area of this website. It is driving me crazy!
