SJcoray, I am doing c25k also and going on day 3 of week 3. YIKES! I am amazed at my endurance but have found that i do MUCH better when I run outside at different venues. Fortunately I live in Florida and have the weather to motivate. At any rate, to gauge my speed - i downloaded Nike's+ with GPS app for my phone. It's not a freebie (1.99, i think) but it's great. It will track your speed, let you know your distance, and then, when you look over your route, it will even tell you where you sped up and where you went down to a crawl. It also has notifications as you go (you decide if you want to be told when you reach every mile). It's a great motivation and I love how it tracks the stuff for me.
