I did good Wednesday, and Thursday. Wednesday was difficult because I had all that candy, just sitting in a bowl waiting to be eaten. As I waited for the trick or treaters, I had to deal with that temptation.... I didn't help that my husband is a "snacky" person, who can eat anything he wants and stay thin. :| And yes, he did dip into the candy bowl..... several times.
Then Thursday was worse. I took all my leftover candy and put it in the lounge at work. I guess I was not the only one with this brilliant idea, because there was a spread of candy. A trick-or-treaters dream was sitting on the table. I just put my leftovers down and left. Then later, I went back to buy a water from the vending machine. Oops.. I forgot, every other thursday, we celebrate payday with exorbitant amounts of food. There were cupcakes, and candy, and all kinds of yummy treats. I got my water, and got out of there.. Without a treat. I was doing so good.
Then, in my office mailbox, was a box of treats. It was a small, chinese style box with pumpkins on it. the label said “This is just a treat, not a trick”. I opened it up, and sure enough, it was full of candy. My mouth was watering by then, and I almost took a bite.. But I didn’t. I took the treat box, and put it in someone else’s mailbox.
Phew.. I did it. I fought temptation and I won. I hope that the scale shows my effort on monday for weigh in.
Losing weight, one day at a time....

Doh!
I was doing so good on my program. Friday came, and my husband wanted to go out to eat as a new japanese restarant. I had a plan of action in mind, that I would just drink water, maybe snack on a salad to get my veggies in, I packed a luna bar too. Then he invited his family, who I don't know much about. We ended up ordering a ton of apetizers, which I felt kinda forced to eat (Since I am not close to his family yet), I kept hearing "Oh, you should try this, or that" as they threw stuff onto my plate.
GOOD NEWS, I only drank water, rather than ordering a drink. Since I have a cheep scale, I am not sure how bad this will end up on my diet.. But I am starting over again today. So far, so good. :D
