I still hardly ate anything yesterday. This food poisoning is kicking my butt! I'm taking a short break from trying to lose while I get healthy again. I'm getting around a lot better today, so by tomorrow I should be back on the wagon.

Atkins is working for me, albeit very slowly. But I am currently turned off on meats because of battling with salmonellosis. I am very careful with my foods and aware of cross-contamination so I wash my hands, cutting surfaces and change knives frequently while cooking. But I got sick anyway. That was a sign for me. I've wanted to go vegan ever since I fell of the vegan wagon 2 years ago. Now is just as good a time as any to get back on.
