College was a killer, but I've been at the same weight for the two years I've been out of college. If I just lose the weight I gained in college I think I can stay within 5 lbs. I'm excited to lose this weight.

Shin Splints.
Oh, and take it from someone who has been through the pain:
DO NOT come back hard from this. Don't take a bunch of time off then start tryng to run miles. Take it slow. If not you could end up separating the muscle from the shin bone, which takes longer to heal and is MUCH more painful. That was the second most painful sports injury of my life.

Shin Splints.
I agree with what everyone said + I bring a tip:
Buy some styrofoam cups (I know, not good for the environment, but this is the only way you can do this technique). Fill them most of the way with water and freeze them SOLID (several days). When you need to ice them peel away as much of the styrofoam cup as you need and run the cup of ice up and down your shins. This way you can make sure you get every bit of your shins instead of sticking an awkward ice pack on it. By FAR the best way to ice your shins!

Looking for Protein?!?!?!
I know it SOUNDS weird, but it's pretty good: mustard with tuna. Yes, yellow mustard. If it scares you a little bit at first do half mayo (or Miracle Whip, which is only 40 cal a tbsp) and half mustard and then you can ween yourself down. I've found a couple people who do this, so I know I'm not the only crazy one!

Looking for Protein?!?!?!
Oh, and soy milk has just about as much protein as regular milk, but has less calories!

Looking for Protein?!?!?!
Brownberry (and Arnold, I think...they might be sister companies) make a Double Protein bread. 100 calories a slice and a ridiculous amount of protein for bread. It's a good way to get a couple extra grams!
Also, a good way to shove in protein during snack times is to buy the Kraft 100 Calorie packs of hard cheese. That way you don't have to overdoing your snacks and you get a bit of protein in it! Those are my additions to what others have listed above!
