I bought a new scale so I had to change some of the weights. This scale says that I am 2 pounds heavier than the other scale did. It is probably more accurate than the other one. Oh well... I'm still on a trend downward. I thought I would have lost more weight by now. The first week it came off quickly, now it is slowing down considerably. Oh well, a loss is a loss. The exciting thing is that I lost two inches off of my abdomen and two inches off of my waist! I have been having some bowel issues so hopefully that resolves soon, and with it maybe I will see more of the weight loss on the scale. Until then I will keep chugging along with the fast metabolism diet. It's really not a bad diet, I could do this for a while. I knew going into it that my main annoyance would be not having any drinks on the weekends. I have cheated on that factor by a little bit. I hope that I will be in "onederland" very soon!

So I have pretty much destroyed my metabolism. I am now the heaviest weight that I have ever been. That is why I am starting the fast metabolism diet today. I am also doing it as a gateway to healthier living. The diet restricts or eliminates all of the food that I know is not healthy. Time to get back on track, I'm looking forward to finally shedding the weight for good, and starting my new healthy lifestyle!
