Yesterday was a much better day than the day(s) before. Made myself a egg & cheese sandwich on a Bagel Thin for breakfast. Has anyone tried the bagel thins? If you like bagels I would definitely recommend them. I eat them for breakfast all the time! My sandwich was 5 points and definitely kept me full until lunch. Lunch was a turkey wrap (6 points) and Baked Cheetos (3 points). I forgot my carrot sticks so I definitely did NOT meet my vegetable allotment for the day. Oh well, there's always tomorrow! Dinner was steak (6 points), a baked potato w/ butter and sour cream (4 points) and green beans w/ garlic salt (0 points). I also had 2 pieces of Huber's walnut fudge for dessert (6 points). My daily goal is 23 and I had 30 but that's still a LOT better than the weekend and really the whole week before. And the scale is definitely showing it! SOOOO happy I'm back in the 150's. I don't ever want to see those 160's again!

Dieting sucks! This has been the worst weekend! I doubt I ate a single healthy thing this entire weekend. Luckily I don't weigh in with Weight Watchers until Thursday so hopefully I can undo some of the damage I've done. I did at least make it to the gym today. That's about the only positive thing that came out of this weekend. Oh, that and I had a LOT of fun ;) Back to it tomorrow for SURE!

I'm sad to report that I've been following the Weight Watchers plan for six weeks and have lost less than a pound. As much as I would love to blame WW, I know it's 100% on me. You can't lose weight while eating mac & cheese, drinking several glasses of wine and skipping breakfast. I know that in my head; it just doesn't seem to be translating. I'm so tempted to skip my meeting. I mean, what's the point, right? But I was really struck by something my leader said last week (another rough week). She said "When you have a bad week, you need a meeting. When you have a good week, the meeting needs you." I think that is so true. I always leave my meetings with a renewed sense of purpose. It's a reminder to me of why I am doing this. I'm going to go to that meeting tonight. I'll get on the scale and I'll accept responsibility for the fact that I've probably gained. And I'll forget last week and the week before and focus on this week. Because this IS the week I will break into the 150's. And I'm never looking back!
