Grandma always said misery loves company. The last time, I was beginning to lose weight the same thing happened. My best friend, who also has a weight problem, has been distant and hosting several pity parties. Sometimes I tell her I can not talk about her co-workers right now. At times, we all have to protect our sanity. Stress is a trigger for me to eat off plan and I don't want that stress with someone else's problem. Normally I am all ears, but I could not handle it that day. Of course she was offended when I told her, I could not talk with her about her co workers at the moment. I try to encourage her and tell her about the program that I am doing, but she is just being jealous and unsupportive of the changes that I am making in my life and it hurts.

Oh well, life will go on. It is about progress and there is going to be some resistance. Not everyone wants what is best for you. Some people don't want to get on board but at the same time don't want to be left behind. ANd the dynamic of some of my relationships may change. This is a change I have to make for me, for my sanity, for my physical and emotional health and my son. I have to continue living a healthy lifestyle with exercise and filling fresh foods. I can not allow the party poopers to stop me and neither can you. We can do this! Until next time you got this, it's nothing.
