CRAVINGS during PMS - Ladies, do you get them?
I definitely crave carbs.....and fast food, and chocolate, and candy, and cake, and....hahah Smile

So the week before last week, I was doing great! I lost 3 pounds (I had just joined a 5 week challenge and was right on track). Then last week, I was PMS'ing, and I was definitely hungry A LOT MORE and craving bad foods (the healthy stuff I was eating before just didn't work).

The exact day that I start my period (and a few days after), I have very little appetite. In fact, I started my period today. Last week, while PMS'ing, I finished an entire bowl of pho (salty and spicy) and today, I barely got through a quarter of that same small bowl.

I mostly asked this question because I felt I started out great with the 5 week challenge then completely got derailed thanks to PMS. I feel like I am starting from scratch again. Getting around this has been a challenge for me because I feel like I get a good solid 2 weeks of "normal appetite" where I can "diet" before the hormones start up again and throw everything off track.

I know A LOT of other females go through this and seeing all the female members on this forum who have lost SO MUCH weight is so motivating! Some of you gave great suggestions, and I am definitely going to try them. Any other suggestions, tips and stories are welcome!! Smile

Hi Ladies (and curious gentlemen),

Do you get crazy cravings when you are PMS'ing? I find that I will be on track with my diet and exercise...then when I start to PMS, I just want to eat more and mostly really bad foods.

Does anyone else have this problem? How do you control it? What do you typically eat that helps?

Any tips/suggestions are appreciated and welcome!
