So I'm on the depressed side today. I had a job offer get withdrawn because the company was able to change their current employees around and I wasn't needed. I had *SO* wanted that job, too. So I haven't really eaten anything today. I just feel defeated and sad.
Tomorrow is a new day, though.....

Last night the hubby tried to be nice and make me some low fat chicken alfredo with wheat noodles. It just turned out
bad
. I don't know what happened, so I ended up having a turkey hot dog with no bun for dinner and a side of low sodium corn. hahah. Poor hubby. Tonight we're having low fat tacos made with turkey burger. I'm hoping that turns out better! :)

I just did my first "weigh-in" and I lost 3 lbs! I'm so excited but I know a lot of that is water. I'm going to keep trucking along, though!

It's been two days since I've really started cracking down on what and HOW MUCH I eat. I never realized just how big my portion sizes really were until I began comparing them to what's recommended on the box or in the recipe books. I'm trying very hard to become healthy and hopefully now that I've seen the error of my ways, I can change!!!
