Okay---I really need to get back on track!!!!! And, for some reason, although I have actually lost about 10 pounds, I feel WORSE about myself. For example, clothes shopping :(
I try to keep telling myself that I've gained about 10 pounds year for the past so many years, so this is a step in the right direction, but boy is it hard!!!!!

Okay....did good until weigh in on Wednesday. I did lose weight, but went out to a buffet Friday night. It was an awesome buffet, but now I feel like I cannot get back on track!!!!! And I never really paid any attention to my weight (although I knew, of course, that I was fat).....now I cannot stop obsessing on how fat I am!! It is seriously depressing me!! I need to snap out of it, but how??

I did pretty well last week and had a weigh in at Weight Watchers. I had lost 2.6 pounds, which brings my total to 9.8 pounds lost (I started 4/1/08, so it has been one full month). I had one bad week where I actually gained .2 or I would have hit the 10 pound mark. I really, really wanted to hit that today because you are given a "gold" key chain with a "10" on it. I really wanted that! LOL! Hopefully next week!

I am not really sure how this works! I read about the website in a magazine and thought I would give it a try! I am 46, live in upstate New York. I have five children ranging from 9-19. Zach is the oldest and only boy--he is a 14+ year survivor of a brain tumor. I was diagnosed and treated last year for thyroid cancer. I am sooo tired of being overweight. I was a stay-at-home mom for many years, returning to work in 2004, as a school bus driver! Nothing I ever thought of being, but I like it! In all my years at home, though, I put on a lot of weight. I tried going it alone, but that didn't work out well, so I have joined Weight Watchers (4/1/08). I have lost a little over 7 pounds. Some days I am so proud of myself; other days, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror or a store window and think "Ugh--I can NEVER do this". I do know a few people who have lost alot of weight over the past year or so, so I DO know it can be done. And I try to remember I put this weight on over many years, so as long as it's not going UP, it is a good thing, but it's hard.
