I didn't lose or gain anything in the past few weeks, I'm greatful for not gaining because I have all but tossed my diet out the window, which is completly stupid! It's always so hard for me to get back on the wagon after I fall off, I do it time and time again. However I didn't go so biserk that I put any back on and that is something new. I've been able to maintain. So here I go again trying to hoist myself back on the train...Holidays are over, well almost, we are celebrating Chirstmas with our kids that weren't here for it this weekend...then the holidays and excuses are over!!

I followed the plan reasonalby well, but I really struggled with the craving after being off for 1 1/2 weeks. I also watched our 3 grandkids this weekend so of course there was pizza and crap flowing through out the house but I was able to resist it all...well except for a handfull of popcorn, which isn't to bad it has 17 g of net carbs per 3 1/2 cups and I ate less then 1/2 cup.

I struggled with the diet a bit this week, I haven't been feeling all that great so I haven't been eating properly. Mostly because I just don't feel like making anything. I think I had to much bacon, and way to much salt because I was eating alot of canned asparagus, which is also pretty high in sodium. I still did lose 2 lbs which I am really happy about because I didn't think I lost anything after reveiwing my eating habits this week! I see my goal just a little ways away and I know it's obtainable I just have to keep my focus which I didn't do this week. I also never made it to the gym...bad bad bad!!! So I'm pretty such there is a bike ride in store for me this afternoon.

Ahhhh the holiday killed my diet!! Ok so I killed it, it was one long weekend! My husband and I both decided that we would forego the diet for the weekend, knowing full well it would set us back, but it didn't set us back nearly as far as I thought it might. gaining two pounds....ACK....but I really thought it would be closer to 5, I was not careful at all. I didn't over eat, but I carbed out. I can say that I learned a really good lesson this weekend though, I really thought that I was just doing atkins because of the fast weight loss, but what I discovered is it really makes me feel better. I spent so much time this weekend feeling fatigued and kind of blah, just kind of powering through the day because we had so many friends and family to visit, but I really missed the get up and go I had been having lately. So I am back on track this morning and ready to light this thing up!!
