Finally got to the gym! Didn't record food these past couple of days because I didn't eat any brand name food or measure it first. Nor did I weigh myself since the last time I checked in. Have to admit that I was feeling discouraged, as I had read an article stating that the way to avoid post-menopausal weight was with aerobic exercise 5 DAYS A WEEK! I have no problem with doing 5 days worth of exercise in 2 days, or even 3. But this is a huge chunk of time pretty much every day of the week! I'm hoping to get fit enough to resume using the nordic track every other day. Do that & the pounds melt off like butter in a hot skillet. However I have a ways to go.
Just added one of my favorite breakfasts, & was horrified that it's 665 calories! No wonder it's so filling!

Back in my old weight neighborhood. Not so good. No pain today. But, just so I don't have an uncomplicated day, I have a dentist appointment later on :(

Saturday was a day or so of Homemade food & delicious restaurant conveyor sushi. How do you count the calories when you aren't quite sure of what you're eating? There were at least 5-6 mussel shells filled with mussels and various food-related garnishes, additions, etc. Also something which looked like fried sushi with a roe drizzle. It looked like a cinnamon bun.
Sunday was a pain day. Moving my fingers across a keyboard might be too much effort, and I won't know until after the fact. Any food intake is literally grab and go or handed to me. Medicinal Patron chocolate liqueur & rum cream liqueur on the rocks, repeat as needed.
Monday: Chiropractor day off, but pain is smaller, much easy food like cheese and crackers. And company for football, whiskey & a chocolate bar (from a polite person who had a craving, but it's rude to bring food for yourself, but not for the people around you). Had a bowl of kasha (whole buckwheat). It's much easier to do the calorie count when the food is prepackaged, not loose grain bought at Bob's Red Mill.

Sure, way under calorie goal of 1200. But I'm not hungry, and it's hard to believe one should eat when not hungry. Isn't eating when you're not actually hungry how many of us wound up needing this site in the 1st place? No activity to speak of, just puttering around the house. Sometimes you need to have a day like this.
Now the bad news: I'm still 5 lbs over the very most I can weigh and still fit into jeans :( . So even though today isn't a gym day, just a chiropractor, shop, and drive people around day, I'm in yoga pants. I miss my jeans!
