I have found three new walking/hiking trails. Trying to mix it up a bit. The one trail I went to today the first thing I saw was a red fox. Awesome! Then a bit later a fawn. Beautiful!
The other day I was on this Island trail which was very hot that day. The wildlife was of the domestic kind. I walked up on a biker " hitting " a Super " bowl "! An elderly woman fishing with her DH and grandson or great grandson asked me how many miles I walk a day. I told her I never keep track. I just walk hard for an hour.
Another track another day. I had to buy a visor and sun screen. Very sunny track. Somehow I just cant get walking earlier or later.
The track I enjoyed yesterday was partly shady with big beautiful yummy smelling pines. I thoroughly enjoy these one hour adventures. I feel like I am doing something wrong if I miss a day.
I do still enjoy the treadmill and free weights at the gym , but I might as well take advantage of the summer.
I think I will be in shape for when my DS takes me on a camping/hiking trip in our national forest . My son is a serious hiker. I have to get new boots.

Less than 20 lbs. to goal but I have a feeling if I keep this up I might set a new goal weight. I am addicted to the treadmill which is a good thing cus weather has been crappy. I am sure true summer will show eventually and I will get in some beautiful morning walks at the lake before the heat of the day.
I entered our towns RELAY FOR LIFE with my daughter.We are walking for WALGREENS. It is Friday and Saturday. I am very excited!
Dentist appointment today.Going to gym first. I need to look up weight workouts for arms.

CHALLENGE TO EVERYONE: UP YOUR EXERCISE!!! My buddy Bea inspired me to add more to my workout. I walked the lake track twice. Hard! It was great! Then I went hiking in 2 different areas. My legs are screaming at me so I think I will give them a break tomorrow.
