I guess I've been overweight since I was in 3rd grade (At least that's when my sister started calling me fat(self-fulfilling prophecy anyone?)). I had very low self-esteem until the age of 20 when I moved out of my parents home and weighed between 170-180 for a long time. Then I got pregnant, but ended up only gaining like 5 pounds. Only thing is that I was a stay at home mom for 6 months, so I mainly sat around the house, holding a baby and eating. In a little over a year I weighed 240. I sat there and watched my weight go up and up and was so saddened because I thought I just didn't know the secret. I thought it would never happen. I thought I had tried everything only to fail a week later. Then it happened. I started looking at losing weight as the simple science that it is. The fatsecret app I downloaded for my tablet empowered my control-freak personality and I'M NEVER TURNING BACK. Just watch what I can do!

Roller Blading
I don't understand how rollerblading can burn so many calories? Yea I know, moving weight over a distance blah blah blah, but I would never break a sweat or get out of breath from it. In retrospect I do remember a faster heart rate but it doesn't seem like it should be up there with running. Also does anyone know if ice skating burns the same? Maybe rollerblading should be uphill?

stretch marks
Stretch marks are at the third layer of skin and no lotions or oils can reach them. The best thing to prevent is to consume b vitamins and collagen while also doing ab workouts.

Tricks I've learned
Stomach growling isnt actually a sign that you are hungry. Your stomach is used to eating at certain times so it will go ahead and start processing in the stomach to start digesting the food that it is sure you are going to give it soon. For those of us that are used to overeating, our body has never needed to start processing this anticipation for food because its always used to running anyway so actually our bodys just stop the anticipation and only start digesting when it knows food is there.

What can I do to keep from eating for how I feel?
Eating releases oxytocin, feelgood hormones. Exercising does the same thing. Switch and not only will you fix your short term emotions but will also fulfil an enire day of feeling great from exercise.

Calories read! I DONT GET IT!!
oh, i didnt see that you put metric. After you go to enter exercise, theres a little question mark at the bottom and it says "about the exercise diary" when you click on that it will show you conversions. Idk if u can change it to permanent though
