Finally had the courage to face up to the holidays. Will be starting fresh this week.

Ever since December 26, I have been spending up to 40 minutes per day lifting some sort of weights. Nothing too heavy, but challenging weight after 8-10 reps. It's not a full out exercise routine, but it breaks a small sweat every morning. I've also noticed that even though I am eating less and my dimensions are changing the weight loss has stalled again. I think I am (very slowly) losing fat and gaining muscle and that explains the stall. I think next week, I will bump up the weights, lower the reps, and eat less calories to see what happens.

Yesterday was a test. I took my staff out for Indian food yesterday and it was absolutely fantastic. Three years ago I would not have dreamed of eating spicy foods, but now I find myself craving it at least once a week. The only issue yesterday was exactly how much food was ordered. We usually go to an Indian vegitarian buffet up the street, but yesterday we went to a restaurant and quite honestly, I don't know the names of the stuff I like, just what it looks like so I left the ordering up to my 2nd in command. I ate what I though was a reasonable amount and I was stuffed...not bloated...just full without being ill. I am proud to say I am down again this week, but yesterday definately had an impact on how much I was down. Next week it the true test. Good luck over the holidays everybody!!
