Tomorrow is going to be wondrously awesome! The new hires started! I am working 3 or 4 12 hour shifts a week ... Could not be more perfect for fasting! Gomez can not see me not eating which will make him happier. I will become less of a sausage which will make me happier.... I will start the scale over in the am. I have been seriously at the coffee today so fluid weight... Amazing how much your outlook can change with just a little help BTW hubbies job has under gone another cleaning and round of testing... He is negative yet again, I find this humorous because he overheard some cow workers complaining that I gave it to Bill and he gave it to them..... LOL. EXCUSES. Turned out to be George in the warehouse. I need to take a moment for childishness... nana nana boo boo! (sticks out tounge and crosses eyes)Any way Ya"ll have a great week!

back down to 212.7 yay now i can start again. Work today from 530 to 530 first 3 and last hour i am only re working the paperwork to make the health dept happy. Talked to the boss. I am not fired. Bonus. Will be too tired to eat when i get home so I will surely loose some today. I am trying to be positive. I get to play DO-si-do with the nurse all day! Poor girl Sharing an MAR with paper charting... I dont know whose Idea that was but I think this person needs a psych eval. Have a great day kiddies and be blessed.

OH LORD WHERE TO BEGIN. I took a job in a C-19 ward. 2 weeks ago. As far as orientation I was handed a notebook and told here ya go. I did the best I could and tried to uphold charting standards. On my second day the girl who was supposed to work with me called off COvid. So two weeks I am here by my self. I do not get to sit. I am out numbered. I have drain sharks (THE S...L...O...W...L...Y...D...Y...I...N...G..) and DNR's and comfort only.aS WELL AS PATIENTS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY ARE HERE. NOTHING in this place is organized all the supplies are in different places. MOST of my patients DO NOT SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND English. In this facility we are Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Vietnamese and Spanish with one Italian thrown in for the hell of it. 8 SPEAK ENGLISH.I can't get google translate to work because it translates literally word for word and the patients look at me like I have LOST MY MIND. The Nurses and aides are busy doing their stuff and they are overwhelmed too. We had a good weekend we only lost 8. Not a single one was under 77. All had pneumonia prior to admission to the ward. Most are there for C-19 symptom isolation. (cough, temp, Could be anything... but we put them in the COVID Isolation ward.) When I started we had a green zone, yellow and red. We are now only yellow and red. I wear more plastic than a new Barbie in the box. On the up side I am loosing water weight my clothes are soaked when I leave there is no where to shower or change so I have to go home cold and wet. So the health department lady starts chapping my ass about NOT CHARTING OXYGEN SATURATIONS ON EVERY PATIENT EVERY 4 HOURS... like I am sitting in the breakroom with my thumbs up my..... I got mad and told her I AM NEW TO THIS PLACE, I GOT NO ORIENTATION, I CANT FIND ANYTHING, GETTING HELP IN ENGLISH IS LIKE PULLING TEETH WITH NO ANESTHERTIC,I have to re gown and glove and mask between EVERY patient...AND WHAT CAN I DO WHEN THEY ARE 49 AND I AM ONLY ONE? I DID WHAT I COULD... I TOOK care of the worst, Ran where the nurses said they needed me and prayed for the rest. I charted! I have notes and I can account for all of my time even the lunches I worked through. I am sorry it is not charted where you want it. it is in the patient record. If you want to help GREAT! If not I have work to do. .................... SO I might be in a little trouble with the boss. At this point I believe my GAF is broken! if you throw me into the fire... be prepared for the FUCKIN FLARE UP!!!!! CUZ IM A FAT GIRL! If it is not bleeding, disconnected or on fire... put it on the list and I will get to it. I am much more likely to get C-19 from my husband as you can't teach plumbers to pull up their pants much less wash their damn hands. Thank you for listening. Pray for me.. the thoughts in my head....I am going to hell for sure....LOL. If you are in the same spot... I feel for you. And how do you solve the N95 mask cutting your face? HD> LADY says use a bandaid.... still jacks the seal... Only purpose of the mask is to cut down your LOADING dose of the virus ( in theory you will not get so bad a case.) The virus is too small for the n95 mask to stop it completely. I am at the point I am considering licking door knobs to get it over with.
