Last two years had awful back, hip, knee pains and swollen toes that all curtailed walking and any type of exercise and couldn't even manage to learn to swim but since cutting tomatoes out of my diet I am painfree and feeling good.

What do you expect After workout ?
I've dropped 12 pounds in 301 days by restricting calories.
One meal salad, one cooked veg, no junk, small amounts eggs, oily fish, lean meat, have one large treat lunch per week.
Crispbread instead of bread,
When I get urge to nibble I drink glass water with drop of tonic to taste and eat few grapes or blueberries.
I want to get to 160 then perhaps down to 155.
Bad legs mean no exercise or swimming so only option is the portion control for me.

Alcohol and dieting
Alcohol makes our bodies retain water and bloat.
Stop drinking and watch the weight disappear.

i cannot get motivated
Felicia! Ask God to help you!
When you have got the kids off to school. Take a deep breath and take pleasure in tyding the breakfast things away and then go look for something interesting to do that will take you out in fresh air and among friends - not the fastfood joint!
Is there ladies group at local church you can go to for happy chat?

you mean from lack of minerals, take a good mineral supplement, the liquid ones are the best. Magnesium is good.
No its not lack of minerals. I eat plenty of fresh fruit, veg and eggs but somehow I am not processing the calcium in them occasionally and need to eat some bread - just one slice of wholemeal with grains a day is enough.
