Talked with Eric today about how we're eating and I told him about the trends I'm seeing. I told him that before when I was losing weight it was at a pretty unsafe caloric intake level. He said, "Well we're not trying to starve ourselves, baby, we're just trying to be more healthy." And that is true. I'm glad I have him for a little perspective.
Down 2 lbs since yesterday, but that could be water/bathroom habits talking.
This is exciting! I love knowing what my body is doing!
And - I resisted the temptation of McDonald's today. Dad asked if I wanted anything for dinner, and I politely declined. One burger a night (yay free food from 5 guys!) is good for me!

Steady weight, even after the garbage I ate last night. Lots of calories at dinner.. but otherwise I'm eating decently.
Kind of expected this.
And today I'm seeing that I need to space out the calories.. I'm going to eat a dinner full of them and having all my calories come from one meal is no good.
Let's see what happens!

Alright. I've made the decision to get off this "Do What I Want" while I'm still very happy with myself. I can see a trend forming with my eating habits and I don't like it.
So for a while I'm not really going to change what I'm eating - I'm just going to record it and see what I'm doing to myself now. I want to see what kind of changes I've made and how they are affecting me. And I want to be able to plan better for when I do make the changes.
My relationship, I know, is a factor in this. We are trying hard to re-start a bunch of aspects of our lives separately and together. He gets tired and I let that be an excuse not to work out. Or cook. We're broke, so it's hard to afford good foods.
But this is the hard part, right? Not LOSING the weight, but keeping it off. Struggling with the real life challenges of healthy eating.

Eeeep!
I've gotten into a comfortable spiral. I'm in a new relationship with a man who thinks I am beautiful and perfect. He's a big guy himself and doesn't have the restrictions and goals I have set for myself.
What I need is to get back on top of things and closely monitor myself.
