Since I entered Phase II, I seem to have slowed to a crawl with the weight loss. I injured my shoulder and can't do much in the way of streching exercises. I walk on the tread mill but not as often as I should. I'm not doing badly with keeping complient with the diet. I need to exercise harder.

I'm so pleased. I feel so much better. I even went out for dinner two nights over the weekend and still was able to stay on course. I have a long way to go, I just have to keep motivated and take each victory as a plus.

What a difference a day makes. I completed my first day and already I feel the difference in as far as I feel less bloated and calmer because I feel more in control. I think the extensive prep helped too. It's kinda like "ready, set,go" mantality. My blood sugar was great this morning. I even was able to take less insulin.
As a Nurse, I know what I am suppose to be doing to control my BS, but knowledge doesn't seem to give you willpower. I agree with Oprah, it's not the food that's the issue, it's the reason that you use food for comfort that needs to be addressed. For me, it was the loosing of my career and the feeling of sadness and isolation that this brought. By the time I found an outlet to alliviate my loneliness, I had doubled my size. Isn't it amazing how easy it is to put on and how much of a struggle it is to get it off!!!!

It's 2:20PM and I spent the AM clearing out my fridge and pantry of any and all bad stuff I can't have on any of the three phrases. I carted bags of stuff to my friends house as I hate to throw good food out and she has kids.
I then made a list of all the stuff I need to eat and cook using better choices. I went to grocery store #1 and spent $147.00 on phase1 stuff. Oh ya, and treats and food for my dogs. Soon I'll be leaving to go to store #2 for veggies and meets.
I've been looking at the weights and goals of other members and I know that I put my goal weight lower than maybe I should have. I guess I figured that if I'm going to do this, why not go all the way. I hope I'm not being unrealitic. I would be really happy if I got to the point that my Doctor could write in my medical records that I am no longer obese. I hate that word.
Better get going. I'll check in later.
