I am very pleased with my progress. What makes me even happier is that I am forming good habits and finally fixing my relationship with food. It's fuel for my body, right? I eat what I want to eat, but in the proper portions and count my calories every meal, every day. It only took me fifty years. I always have been a late bloomer.

I'm sticking with it. I took a 5 day break over spring break, but found it easy to get back in the game. In fact, I was eager to get started again. My attitude towards food is changing.

Back on the wagon. I'm finding it do-able so far to eat 1400 calories a day. So that is my daily calorie goal. I'm thinking about increasing to 1600 on weekends if necessary. I don't care how long it takes me; I need to find something that I can do for life.
I haven't been tracking my food on a site like this. I tried that before and found that after a while it just became onerous and I gave up. I have been jotting calories on scrap paper and writing the total in a datebook where I keep track of other things.
I liked the calorie counts on this site compared to others I've tried.
