Pretty happy this morning with my weigh in and measurements. Lost 4.5 inches.

Day 6. I haven't weighed myself all week. Tomorrow I'm weighing in. I hope I've lost something. I've been craving chocolate. I would also love to have a beer. Tomorrow I'm taking my sister out for a drink for her birthday. I'm planning on drinking water but we shall see.

Day two. Ughhhh... I was feeling good this morning but by the time the afternoon rolled around I had a huge headache. Still do at almost 11pm. I feel like death again. My stomach isn't feeling good at all. I drank tons of water today. I hope this feeling crappy phase passes soon. As bad as I was feeling yesterday, I was hoping to step on the scale and lose a bunch of weight. haha wishful thinking. Of course I knew it wasn't realistic but hey, one can always hope.
Tomorrow's another day.

My first day of the Atkins diet and I have to say I feel like death. It's a good thing I have a friend that has done this diet with great success to help me through this. Otherwise, after how I've felt today, I probably would gladly jump off this band wagon. She's assuring me that this "atkins flu" will only last a few days. After that, I will be feeling great! Here's to hoping!

It's the night before I start my journey to a skinnier me. I'm excited but also scared of failure. I've tried to diet so many times only to end up falling of the wagon. This time I think will be different though. I have Margaret to help me stick to it and I think I'm going to enjoy eating all the foods I'm "allowed" to eat. I'm nervous about the no sugar thing. That means Stride...my favorite gum, no coke, no alcohol, no bread or potatoes. :( But, I really want to lose the weight. I can't believe I let myself get this big again.
Here goes nothing. I'm ready for a new me. I'm ready to fit into all those skinny clothes again. It'll be like having a whole new wardrobe. :)
