Today I realized that I have lost 37% of my total body weight. I used to be somewhere around 285 pounds and although I don't give myself credit enough for the weight loss, i thought today was a good day to do it. I am moving along slowly but surely and i'll meet my goal no matter how long it takes!

The weight is coming off slowly but it's coming off and that's what's important. I'm up to 3 days a week working out, I want to make it 4 but starting slow seems to be the key for me. Plus my schedule is going to change in a couple of months so i'll do what i can fit in now and then increase as my schedule slows down :)

So I decided that to drop the lst 15 pounds it might be a good idea to switch things up a bit. I am trying to work out more regularly but it's somewhat frustrating because my client's keep rescheduling and screwing up my workout schedule. grrr... oh well, all comes in due time and the good news, I don't weight 285 anymore so there's always light at the end of the tunnel.
Actually I had a doctor tell me I need to lose 40 pounds. Screw that, if i lost 40 pounds i'd be 145 and i look sick at 160 so losing another 15-20 pounds after that would be nuts. I'm 5'8" and I have a large chest and i'm medium build. Take away the chest and the lose skin from losing weight and sure I could lose 40 pounds. sheesh. what a way to discourage a girl. I didn't realize I looked like I need to lose 40 pounds!~

Well I am officially smaller than I've been in a long time. I weighed in at 182 this morning and some part of me doesn't really care. I'm having a difficult time with a relationship and it turns out all of my hard work to keep us going wasn't enough because he isn't willing to try as hard as I am or at all for that matter. He's become lazy and is ambivalent about his problems. As a therapist I know he can't change until he's ready to, but in truth I thought this was it. Guess I was wrong.
Oh well at least I can be happy about my wt. loss :)
