Completed my first Sprint Triathlon on Saturday September 10th in North Myrtle Beach. EXCELLENT experience!
Now I am going to get ready for my second Sprint Tri that only has a 500 yard swim and is in a lake. Should be much easier since I am not dealing with waves.
My new goal is to get ripped for the wedding. Here is what I am thinking of doing.
- Swim & bike 2-3 times per week
- 2 week break from running to get rid of tendonitis
- run 2/week
- weights 2/week
- deadlifts
- squats
- biceps
- chest
- core work

Been a while since I've been on here.
In 3 days I will compete in my first triathlon. I've trained for over 2 months and I'm feeling great. Swimming was the biggest challenge and the most rewarding exercise between the 3 disciplines.
Weight??? I stopped keeping track after I weighed in at 177lbs 3 weeks ago. I hate the scale. suppose I have added muscle but I would still like to be around 170 with muscle.
After the tri my goal is to add 2 consistent days of weight training and abs. Really want to get some abs, increase my bicep size and I'd be pretty content and ready for the wedding/honeymoon. (I'm envisioning honeymoon pics at the beach with my shirt off)
