Skipped breakfast again yesterday and didn't end up getting in as much protein as I should have for the day again. Gotta find a way to work on that - especially since the doctor told me that at some point I physically won't be able to eat breakfast in the morning because of the way fluid within me and within my band will collect during the night while I'm sleeping. However, that may just mean that I'll need to eat a boiled egg or something later in the morning and try to take later lunches in the afternoons. Otherwise, I have no idea how I'm going to consume 60 - 80 grams of protein every day....
I joked with a friend that last night must have been the night the Adipose left to go live with their new parents (it's a Dr. Who reference) because I lost 1.8 lbs since yesterday. :-)

My actual starting weight as of April 30th was 185.8, not 201. So I REALLY only lost .4 lbs since yesterday. My weekly goal is 2 lbs/week. That comes out to just under .3/lbs per day, so I'm on track. :-)
According to my dietitian, I'm supposed to eat 60-80 grams of protein per day. I only had 53 yesterday, but I guess that's not too bad considering the fact that I got busy yesterday and didn't eat my first meal until 2 pm.
I went for a walk down at the river yesterday and walked about 2 miles. Not a lot, but still not bad considering it's been just under 2 weeks since my surgery. It'll get better as I heal. Right now I'm not pushing myself for any particular distance or speed. I'm just trying to get in as much exercise as I can without pushing myself too far given that I'm still healing from both the LAP-Band surgery and the fact that my surgeon corrected a hiatal hernia while he was in there as well. (Which makes it uncomfortable to take deep breaths right now.)
